Easy to fill in
The fillable PDF used before did not work well. Now the candidate fills in the profile through a link, on a phone or a computer, without logging in.

AI writes a business profile of a self-employed candidate from nine statements, so every file for the Dutch DBA Act is built in the same way.
Derec is a Dutch staffing agency for education, which also places self-employed professionals at schools. To comply with the Dutch DBA Act, Derec records for each of them how they work as a business, so the agency can check that there is no false self-employment. I built a solution in which a self-employed candidate answers nine statements through a link, AI writes a business profile from them and the signed profile is saved in the candidate's file.

A completed form did not reach the right systems by itself. The signed profile is now saved automatically as a PDF in the candidate's file, and the recruiter gets an e-mail.
Before, it stayed at a row of yes and no answers. From those answers, AI now writes a text about how the candidate works, with points to make agreements about.
BEFORE
For the DBA Act, Derec had a PDF that could be filled in, with yes or no for each statement. That did not work well, and a completed form did not end up in the right systems automatically.
THE USUAL SOLUTION
The usual solution is a subscription to a package that manages the files of self-employed workers for the DBA Act. That means an extra system with a login of its own, while a candidate's file belongs in the recruitment system. So the starting point became a form the recruiter sends from the recruitment system, with the result going back into that system.
THE INVITATION
The recruiter sends the invitation from Carerix, the recruitment system the whole company works in. The candidate gets an e-mail with a link that only works for them.
THE STATEMENTS
The candidate answers nine statements about the way they work, such as who sets the rate and whether they work for several clients.
THE PROFILE
From the answers, AI writes a short text about how the candidate works. The candidate gets to read it before signing.
THE SIGNATURE
The candidate reads the profile and signs it. The system keeps the signed profile as a PDF.
NO VERDICT
The profile contains no score, no percentage and no verdict on false self-employment. The recruiter draws the conclusion, in conversation with the candidate. AI only sees the nine answers, without a name or company details.
From an invitation to a signed profile in the file: along the way, it passes through four places.
Recruiter → Recruitment system · An invitation
Recruitment system → Candidate · A personal link
The e-mail holds a link that only works for this candidate. No login is needed.
Candidate → AI · Nine answers
AI → Candidate · The profile
Candidate → Recruitment system · A signed PDF
The signed profile is saved as a PDF with the candidate in the recruitment system. After that, the link no longer works.
Recruitment system → Recruiter · An e-mail
It has been in use at Derec since September 2026. Derec now records in the same way, for every self-employed candidate, how they work as a business, as part of the file for the DBA Act. Nobody has to put a form into the right system by hand any more.
